Role Overview:
Calling all dynamic leaders! As a Senior Commercial Manager, you'll be at the forefront of driving our business to new heights. Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, you'll be the driving force behind our commercial success. With your wealth of construction knowledge and unparalleled leadership skills, you'll lead a team of commercial managers to deliver outstanding results. From pre-contract negotiations to project delivery, you'll be instrumental in ensuring our projects exceed expectations while maintaining optimal margins and profits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a team of commercial managers to achieve excellence.
• Dive into projects from the get-go, ensuring seamless setup and delivery.
• Strike the perfect balance between leading your team and getting hands-on with projects.
• Keep a sharp eye on financial reporting, ensuring top-notch standards for board reports.
• Collaborate with the Commercial Director to uncover growth opportunities.
• Foster a culture of teamwork and value for all stakeholders.

Key Duties & Experience:

• Proven track record as a senior commercial manager with a top-tier contractor.
• Expertise in managing commercial aspects from start to finish.
• Thrive in high-pressure environments and fast-paced challenges.
• Versatility across commercial, residential, warehousing, and retail sectors.
• Ace at preparing management reports that wow the board.
• Contractual savvy, including mastery of JCT contract forms.
• Minimum 10 years' industry experience, with 5+ years in a similar role.
• Stellar people skills, teamwork prowess, and leadership finesse.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Preferably hold a degree in cost management or related field.
• Membership in professional bodies like RICS adds extra shine.
• Minimum 10 years' industry experience, with significant time in a similar role.
• Outstanding references and evidence of your expertise are a must.
