The Advocate Group is excited to be partnered with a popular household brand, to assist with the search for a Snr Commercial Analyst, who will split their time between finance & commercial. This is a great opportunity to be an integral part of business insights and strategy, with a leading FMCG company.

The ideal person will be able to work seamlessly around the business, supporting Sales with profit margins, Marketing with trends, and Finance with budgets. With excellent attention to detail, this person will provide insightful analysis, ideas and recommendations.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and provide analysis of product, category, and promotion performance, highlighting trends, business risks and opportunities to maximise sales across all channels
  • Identify new reports and sales tracking tools to further challenge and drive commercial decisions/performance
  • Become the central point of contact for Wholesale, Retail and Ecommerce forecasting, managing inventory requirements for new products and promotions
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns, identifying trends and successes from initiatives that can influence decisions for future programmes
  • Monitor all POS, Sample & Marketing spend for the Sales team and to provide a monthly log and evaluation of the same

Desirable competencies:

  • 2-5 years prior commercial analysis experience in either a Retail, FMCG or Finance
