An exciting, established business in the financial services space in Nottingham is hiring for a new senior collections analyst to join their portfolio performance team.
THE COMPANY
This financial institution is based in Nottingham. They provide a consultancy service across lending, utilities, and telecoms. This role is a senior position in the analytics and strategy team. The wider business are very well known in the UK and provide great experience for career growth
THE ROLE
You can expect to be involved in the following day to day:
- Conducting thorough analysis of data to uncover patterns and valuable insights within client portfolios.
- Identifying opportunities to create, refine, and implement strategies for improving recovery outcomes.
- Communicating with clients to grasp the key factors driving performance, presenting visual representations of data insights, and proposing actionable enhancements.
- Performing ad-hoc analyses for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborating effectively with colleagues across various departments, particularly in effectively conveying technical details.
- Assuming ownership of project components and proactively providing progress updates as needed.
- Overseeing the management information (MI) processes regularly, both on a weekly and monthly basis, alongside the wider team.
- Monitoring and conveying financial performance metrics throughout the organization.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience using SQL and Excel
- Experience in financial services is ideal
- Experience in collections or credit risk is very beneficial
- Strong numerate degree
