The Role:
The Senior Client Host ensures exceptional customer service for visitors, staff, and stakeholders at 20 Gracechurch Street. They serve as the primary point of contact for all office inquiries and visitor support.


Duties & Responsibilities:


Customer Service
* Ensure a warm, courteous welcome for all visitors, offering necessary office services.
* Coordinate with meeting organisers to facilitate guest arrivals.
* Escort visitors to meeting rooms and maintain communication regarding any delays.
* Handle incoming calls/emails promptly and courteously.
* Assist with on-the-day meeting room bookings and setup.
* Maintain security protocols and provide access to authorised personnel.
* Engage positively with colleagues and clients, anticipating and meeting their needs.


Workplace Management
* Provide daily handovers and ensure office areas are prepared for opening.
* Conduct regular checks to maintain cleanliness and tidiness.
* Manage terrace area opening/closing.
* Log and report housekeeping and maintenance issues.
* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, including Health & Safety.
* Act as primary contact for AV queries and equipment maintenance.


Administrative Tasks
* Facilitate new starter inductions and manage on boarding/off boarding processes.
* Manage locker allocation, office passes, and stationary stock.
* Coordinate event bookings and assist with client events.
* Handle office deliveries and complete daily post.
* Provide reports to Workplace Management Team and support ad-hoc projects.


People Management
* Manage front-desk operations, staffing levels, and procedures.
* Develop and motivate the front of house team, including recruitment and training.
* Offer support for internal and external meetings.
* Conduct regular performance reviews and provide development support.
* Ensure SOPs are maintained and updated regularly.
* Collaborate with Workplace Supervisor and Technical Coordinator for office operations.


Experience:
* 4 year's customer-facing experience.
* Previous corporate/hotel environment experience required.
* Proficiency with reservations system and MS Office.
* Working knowledge of Health & Safety.
* Experience with Audio Visual services desirable.
