We are assisting a leading independent broker in Leeds city centre as they look to bring in an experienced Commercial Claims Handler to join their established team.

This role will see you managing a portfolio of cross class Commercial claims and would be perfect for a Claims Handler looking to move into Senior role. Claims will be managed from notification through to conclusion for a selection of key clients. You will be a focal point & technical go to for some junior members in the team and there is a pathway towards managing the department.

Typically handling Property, Liability, PI, BI & Commercial Motor claims. Client visits will occasionally be required so an emphasis on presentation & professionalism is essential. Insurance qualifications of Cert CII (minimum) would be well received. A minimum of 3 years commercial claims experience with a broker is essential.

In return there is a competitive basic up to £43k, plus 26 days holiday, enhanced pension and support for professional qualifications. Well placed in Leeds and close to main public transport links and with free on-site parking. Hybrid working is available, with 3 days in the office and 2 from home.
