We are currently recruiting for a Senior Claims Adjuster on behalf of our client, a highly regarded London Market insurer with an excellent reputation.

The successful candidate will focus on delivering effective and efficient claims adjusting across both Energy (Natural Resources) and Construction lines of business, with a focus on Construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle a portfolio of Energy (Natural Resources) and Construction Claims from FNOL to conclusion, dealing with varying levels of complexity and value.
• Create and maintain peer level relationships with brokers.
• Manage a portfolio of clients, and act as the main entry point for all of their claims.
• Train and develop the team, and act as a technical referral point for other Claims Handlers.
• Collaborate with Field Adjusters, Underwriting and Operations, and Global teams.
• Participate in IT / digital projects to share your technical insights as a Subject Matter Expert.

Key Requirements

• Previous experience of dealing with Energy (Natural Resources) & Construction claims, with particular experience of handling Construction / Engineering claims preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with recognised broker relationship building skills at peer group level.
• Experience of working in a complex, global matrix organisation.
