I am pleased to supporting my client, a boutique Wealth Management Partnership, based in Farringdon find established Chartered Wealth Managers with a minimum £25M of client following, to join their growing team!

Job overview:

Responsible for providing Financial Planning to clients based on their individual circumstances and objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Increase income stream into the business by attracting new clients and identifying opportunities for fee based financial planning work with existing clients.
  • Achieve target for the financial year through a combination of new business and ongoing existing client fees.
  • Grow individual client bank to around 100 – 125 clients.
  • Provide ongoing advice to allocated clients of the business.
  • Carry out annual review meetings with clients and make changes to their Financial Plan and investments in line with their objectives and changes to circumstances.
  • Work with Adviser Team of Paraplanner and Adviser Support to deliver advice to clients and see client journey through from initial meeting to completion of work and payment of fees.
  • Network and develop working relationships with solicitors, accountants and other professional connections to attract client referrals into the business.
  • Use main data base (Xplan) and all ancillary systems including investment platforms, cashflow tools and other software tools within business to provide comprehensive financial planning to clients.
  • Optimise use of technology to try to improve efficiency and reduce costs across the business.
  • Deliver excellent client service at all levels from client onboarding through to delivery of end client product and ongoing annual reviews.
  • Work closely with the wider Adviser Team on ideas that will help to increase fee income to the business.
  • Any other duties as may reasonably be required, consistent with the grade of the post.
  • Adhere to and maintain knowledge of all applicable legislation, including relevant parts of the FCA Handbook.
  • Take any examinations or professional qualifications that are required to maintain Chartered qualification.
  • Ensure the appropriate number of hours of Continuous Professional Development are completed each year so that Statement of Professional Standing can be renewed each year.
  • Treat customers fairly and act in their best interests at each stage by meeting the unique needs of each customer offering a transparent, efficient and professional service
  • Follow internal disclosure procedures and raise any concerns to the MLRO regarding conflicts of interest or financial crime

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Minimum five years’ experience in Investment/ Wealth Management.
  • Minimum five years’ experience in Advisory role.
  • Minimum qualification level of Advanced Diploma in Financial Services.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply theoretical knowledge in work context.
  • Motivation skills.
  • Ability to make decisions.
  • Commercial judgement.
  • Organisation skills: prioritisation
  • Ability to achieve results within the team and for individual client.
  • Remain informed and relate to information and experience to the financial markets.
  • Ability to network with other professionals.
  • Soft sales skills that will enable conversion from initial enquiry to client of H&P.
  • Ability to market own skills & proposition of the business.
