Senior CFD Engineer

We are looking for a Senior CFD Engineer to join a client of ours based in Surrey. Specialising in safety and risk consulting, we are wanting this individual to come from a background across the: Oil & Gas, Renewables, Clean Energy, Transportation, Power or similar. You will be leading as one of the lead project managers in all CFD project activities and ensuring project deliver is on time with the expected quality and within budget.

The Package: This position is paying up to £50,000 p/a, additional benefits include a performance related bonus, 25 days holiday, company pension scheme, medical insurance cover and more…

Coming from a CFD background, you will be expected to take responsibility for performance, content, and quality of everything CFD related, developing new CFD services and capabilities, assisting with project planning, business strategy and maintaining all CFD procedures and methodologies. Further to this, we would expect you to have a good amount of experience in client facing conversations, meetings and leading these and attending conferences from time to time.

What do I need?

• Must have a relevant degree across chemical, process or aeronautical engineering.

• At least 5 years of experience in CFD safety and risk engineering & consultancy.
• Previous experience and exposure with being client facing and attending conferences.
• Willingness and great attitude to be able to support more junior members with their growth.
• A self-motivated thinker able to work both independently and as part of a larger team.
