Senior Cab Design Engineer

Do you have cab design experience gained from the Agricultural, Off-Highway or Construction sector, and are you seeking a new job? Our client is looking for a Senior Cab Design Engineer, and the role comes with an attractive salary up to £65,000 per annum and benefits package.

This role offers the opportunity of 100% remote working, or alternatively, you can do a hybrid role and report into the Shropshire office on occasions.

As a Senior Cab Design Engineer, you will work 37 hours a week, depending on the reporting structure of the role. The role reports to the Chief Engineer of the R+D team, based at TAFE HQ in Chennai, India. 

If you were already in this Senior Cab Design Engineer role, here are some of the areas you would have been working in this week:

• Working with subsystems such as cab lighting, wiper system, and linkages for controls such as brake, clutch, PTO, 4WD, hydraulic controls, etc
• Working with cab vibration mounts and mounting integrations with tractors
• Cabin NVH management and sealing
• Cab styling - interior and exterior, matching with tractor styling.

• Experience in agricultural tractor cabs, although experience in other off-highway/construction cabs is welcome
• Experience with tractor cabin design, cab packaging on tractor and cab frame structural design complying with ROPS and FOPS requirements
• Experience in modular concept generation and detailed design of tractor cabins and related aggregates.
