Artis Procurement, Purchasing & Supply Chain is exclusively recruiting for a recognised FMCG brand that has major growth plans. The organisation is looking to recruit a Senior Buyer with strong FMCG buying experience and who can demonstrate continuously understanding what customer want when deciding what products to sell and where.

The successful candidate will play a major part in the sales planned for the category, and you will be an engaging communicator who knows how to get buy in from internal stakeholders and suppliers coupled with this you will have excellent negotiation skills as well very strong analytical skills set to support meeting commercial growth targets. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and exciting business.

The Senior Buyer will have full vendor management responsibility for the current suppliers, as well as identifying and developing new suppliers. Working on the buying strategy, you will negotiate preferential trading terms, ensuring that budgeted sales, gross margin, stock turn and profit targets are achieved, and relationship management (supplier, internal etc) is maintained.

Candidates must have a strong background in FMCG buying, with excellent analytical skills - bonus of you've worked with whitegoods. You'll have very strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with an ability to develop and progress the category and liaise with senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
