Senior Buyer Indirect and FM

• This Senior Buying role is ideal for forward thinking individual, who has excellent experience in managing complex negotiations within indirect or FM
• The role is 2 days in the office in Weybridge and 3 days at home (must live a reasonable commute from the office which is close to the train station)

The role:

• The successful Senior Buyer Indirect and FM will lead a small team of buyers to deliver tenders and projects that deliver the commercial KPI’s for the business.
• The Senior BuyerIndirect and FM will lead negotiations and the strategic plan to deliver maximum value for the business whilst delivering on sustainability objectives
• As Senior Buyer Indirect and FM you will keep aware of supplier, market and competitor trends and activity to develop a strategic plan that will deliver long term growth
• Leading, coaching and developing the team you will lead multiple projects that deliver continuous improvement to drive best in class ways of working and procurement excellence.
• In the role the Senior BuyerIndirect and FM will manage the impact of inflation and will closely monitor prices of commodity products identifying and mitigating.
• The Senior Buyer Indirect and FM will work with category and account management teams to deliver the category strategy and targeted sales and profit.

Ideal candidate:

• You will currently be working as a indirect or FM buyer either within retail or wholesale, foodservice or contract catering or blue chip FMCG within the UK
• It is essential that you can demonstrate a proven track record in running tenders, bids and RFQ’s along with fantastic negotiation experience
• As the Senior BuyerIndirect and FM ideally you will have managed at least 1 team member
• Working as part of a team you must have excellent relationship building skills you will be able to communicate and influence with stakeholders.
• As Senior Buyer Fresh Indirect and FM you must have good insight and data analysis skills and be able to action opportunities to drive profit
• You will have excellent planning and organization skills and will be able to work independently on your own initiative, a self-starter with can-do attitude. You will also be a team player and will be able to lead and be a contributor to projects and work streams
• You will thrive in a growth focused entrepreneurial environment with a focus on continuous improvement and a passion for sustainability
