An excellent opportunity has arisen for a collaborative team player to join a leading international law firm with an ambitious growth agenda as a Senior Business Development & Marketing Manager supporting the firm’s Corporate and Tax practices.

The successful applicant will be joining a firm with a supportive, friendly and dynamic culture and will be working for a group of highly-engaged stakeholders. You will enjoy a broad role requiring a strategic and commercial mindset and a high level of initiative to translate emerging business issues and developments into opportunities. You will need to be proactive at developing trusted advisor relationships with Partners and teams across the firm and must develop a sophisticated and comprehensive understanding of the firm's clients, service offerings and the competitive landscape. Working with the support of a Business Development Executive and collaborating closely with the firm's Digital Marketing, Events, Communications, Bids and international Business Development teams, you will provide strategic BD support on the development of practice strategy and sub-group Business Development plans and communication of the strategy to the wider firm and market. Client relationship management and targeting will be a key area of focus, to include client research, account planning and the development of value propositions for clients and targets, and the role holder will also support on RFPs and pitches and provide BD training for teams and individuals. On the marketing side, you will be required to carry out market research and horizon scanning to identify thought leadership and campaign opportunities and will subsequently project manage the full cycle of practice campaigns providing insight into ROI and performance. In addition, the Senior Business Development & Marketing Manager you will be tasked with the development of a seamless process in relation to the group's marketing collateral, intranet and website pages, practice newsletters, client mailing lists and alerts, credentials database and the local use of the firm's CRM system and will supervise event planning and support directories and award submissions.

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable track record of BD success gained whilst working in a high performance professional services environment, ideally an international law firm, to include a proven track record in delivering high-impact marketing and BD programmes. A tenacious self-starter with the ability to both take ownership of a project and drive it to completion, the Senior Business Development & Marketing Manager will possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills and strong stakeholder management experience.
