Senior Business Development Manager (Corporate Finance)
Brand new client facing Business Development Manager role in international corporate finance advisory firm.
This corporate finance advisory firm is a highly successful business which rapidly growing. As part of this role, it is looking to appoint a Senior Business Development Manager. The role would involve targeting both private companies and also private equity houses. It is a real mix of client facing targeting but also working with the partners to advise on targeting, cross-selling and growing clients. Specifically, the role will involve:
- Using a data driven approach to analyse the firm’s client base and private equity market to identify opportunities;
- Working with the partners and directors to build relationships with existing and new clients;
- Working on the implementation of the client programme;
- Building relationships with new clients, understanding their needs and delivering a response;
- Driving cross-selling across the firm’s existing client base;
- Creating strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities - campaigns, thought leadership etc;
- Championing and developing the firm’s BD systems and processes;
- Measurement and reporting.
You will have significant experience gained in a business development role within the professional services sector - ideally an international accounting/consulting firm or law firm. Knowledge of the world of corporate finance and private equity essential. A data driven and analytical approach combined with commercial acumen is also key for this role.
