A renowned construction consultancy is actively seeking a skilled and dedicated Senior Building Surveyor to bolster their Leeds team.

The Senior Building Surveyor role

The successful Senior Building Surveyor will join a team of 15 professionals, immersing themselves in a broad spectrum of projects, across markets including commercial, education, retail, and local authority

Key responsibilities:

• Spearheading and managing surveying projects predominantly in the commercial, education, retail, and local authority sectors.
• Providing robust support to the surveying team, ensuring projects are executed to the highest standards.
• Leading high-value projects independently, demonstrating a thorough understanding of professional consultancy services.
• Supervising and mentoring APC candidates, cultivating a knowledge-rich environment within the team.

The Senior Building Surveyor

• Proven experience in a Senior Building Surveyor role, with a strong preference for those who have focused on commercial, education, retail, and local authority markets.
• A proactive 'can-do' attitude, showcasing a willingness to tackle a variety of projects and demonstrate initiative.
• A strong desire for career progression, aiming to ascend within the consultancy.
• The ability to work independently, backed by extensive sector experience, ideally coupled with some experience in work-winning or development.
• A commitment to nurturing and mentoring junior team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.
