What you will be doing:
* Evaluate EV and Hybrid Systems, ensuring efficient integration and functionality.
* Collaborate with suppliers on new and emerging technologies.
* Provide technical input to various engineering areas (Electrical, Software, Mechanical) regarding Hybrid and EV integration requirements.
* Support the development and validation of Battery architectures.
* Lead design reviews, manage risks, and ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
* Coordinate activities with internal and external partners to achieve project targets and standards.
* Visiting supplier and customer sites to build professional relationships
What they are looking for:
* Engineering degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification required.
* Ideally, 4+ years' engineering experience, with at least 2 years in high voltage energy storage systems and components for vehicles.
* Proficiency in off-board and on-board charging technologies.
* Strong background in vehicle electrical systems and control methods.
* Knowledge of High Voltage Safety and Legislation.
* Experience with Automotive Electromagnetic Compliance.
* Experience in vehicle testing and development is beneficial.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with suppliers.
