Senior AWS Platform Engineer

We are currently recruiting for one of our trusted clients for the role of a SeniorAWS Platform Engineer. It’s an exciting new opportunity to join the UK's leading lottery consultancy!

What You Can Expect

• Work Type - Permanent
• Location - Watford (Hybrid)
• Salary - Up to £90k

Main Responsibilities as a Senior AWS Platform Engineer

• Design, implement and maintain cloud infrastructure in AWS.
• Using DevOps best practices to build the platform efficiently and effectively.
• Collaborating with the team to identify platform needs.
• Driving cloud strategy forward while managing workloads.
• Providing technical guidance to junior team members.

Experience & Skills Required

• 5+ years of experience working on AWS Platforms.
• Experience working with AWS services such as Fargate ECS, CloudFron or Aurora Services.
• Knowledge of DNS Resolution, Routing, NAT, and HTTPS.
• Experience using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Good Scripting skills in Bash or Python.
• AWS Certification, ideally Certified Solutions Architect.
• Knowledge of Azure would be desirable.
