Senior Automation Tester

Our client is seeking a full-time Senior Automation Tester, this position is hybrid with travel to Sittingbourne and / or London. £60k - £70k and excellent benefits.

As a Senior Automation Tester, you will design and build a robust, automated testing framework around three existing web applications to standardise testing procedures, minimise regression and deliver consistent documentation/evidence of test results for each deployment.

In your first week in this Senior Automation Tester role, you can expect to:

• Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and development teams to estimate testing efforts
• Break down testing tasks, considering factors like complexity, dependencies, and timelines
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand functional and non-functional requirements, and translate these into clear and concise acceptance criteria for each feature or user story
• Ensure that acceptance criteria cover both positive and negative scenarios
• Based on acceptance criteria, design comprehensive test scenarios.

To apply for this Senior Automation Tester role, you will need at least 7 years of experience in software testing, including estimation and acceptance criteria definition. You will also require the following:

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and sprint planning
• Proficiency in Selenium, SpecFlow, and ASP.NET MVC testing
• Analytical skills for defining acceptance criteria.
