Senior Audit Quality Manager - Membership body for accountants - Home-based role (North-West England) - Circa £90,000-£92,000 salary

Robert Walters are hiring for a Senior Audit Quality Manager for a leading membership body for accountants and auditors.

This is a home-based role (North-West England) with no office element, with some travel to firms in your local area.

Working as part of the Quality Assurance Department, the Quality Assurance Manager is tasked with reviewing and reporting on the quality of private sector audit work carried out by this organisation's members.

This involves looking after a portfolio of accounting firms in your local area - You would visit them in turn in order to do two main things:

- Quality Assurance: Reviewing case files of private sector audit work, advising the practitioners and firms on and potential issues and areas of improvement

- Firm Advisory - Advising the accounting firm on a range of different topics, helping them to better operate and manage risks

When not visiting a firm you would be working from home writing reports, keeping in touch with contacts and planning upcoming visits.

The role comes with a salary of circa £90k-£92k plus benefits package.

The company are looking for someone with experience in private sector audit in practice, at senior manager level, who is a qualified accountant ( ACA / ICAS )
