Senior Assistant Accountant - 12 month contract

Description

The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for:

• Maintain short-term cash flow reporting to support decision making
• Support year end audits
• Finance compliance reporting
• Banking and internal cash reporting.
• Line manager 2 finance assistants.
• Monitor costs to ensure business meets financial objectives
• Provide support for production of monthly board pack
• Balance Sheet reporting
• Sales performance reporting - daily and weekly reporting.

Profile

A successful Assistant Accountant should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Part qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
• Strong leadership skills and a team-oriented approach.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards.
