Senior Architectural Technician

Location: Greater Manchester

Salary: £36,000-£40,000 (dependant on experience)

My client is looking for a creative Senior Architectural Technician with an enthusiasm for innovative designs to join their friendly team in Greater Manchester. The RIBA-chartered, award-winning practice has a diverse portfolio of projects across the Commercial, Education, Residential and Healthcare sectors and would love to welcome an experienced Architectural Technician to contribute to their exciting designs.

To be successful in this role you should have significant post qualification experience, strong technical abilities and a great knowledge of Revit. You must boast creative design flare and have managed projects through all RIBA stages.

Skills, Experience and Responsibilities for the role of Senior Architectural Technician:

  • Significant post qualification experience in a UK based practice
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Architectural Technology or a related field
  • Produce technical drawings, specification and constructive documents
  • Ensure compliance with building relations, standards and industry best practices
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of staff
  • Coordinate with clients, external consultants and internal team members
  • Collaborate with the wider team to create exceptional design concepts
  • Previous work in the Commercial, Healthcare and Education sectors is beneficial
  • Revit knowledge is essential
