Senior Analyst Developer - Perm £95k + bonus - Insurance

A global insurance specialist is looking to hire a Senior Analyst Developer to support a business-critical transformation to migrate an application from Python to. NET.

Working with 2 other developers, you will be working on refactoring and rewriting an exposure management application to create a robust and scalable application for future development.

This is a full-stack role where the development is 80% middle tier (Python &.NET) and 20% Frontend (Basic UI, the team has a UI developer).

Python development: reviewing existing code base, bug fixing, refactoring existing solution, migration of data from on-prem to cloud.

.NET Developement: migrating from REST APIs to Microservices, developing greenfield microservice solutions, building new features, integrating existing services, building a new codebase.

Salary: £85,000-£95,000 + 12.5% bonus + 10% pension

Location: X1-2 per week in the City of London (Non-negotiable)

Experience required:

• Minimum 5 years in Python with some experience of .NET/C# (80/20)

OR

• Minimum 5years with .NET/C# with some experience with Python (80/20)

Must have requirements:

• Commercial and demonstrable experience with Python & .NET
• Experience with Frontend UI using JS/HTML/CSS (Angular preferable)
• Good knowledge of SQL databases (data structures, indexing)
• Experience with unit/integration testing
• Must have a Financial Service Background (preferably Insurance)
• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud services (Authorisation, Authentication, deployment)
• Strong communication with various groups of different tech understanding.
