Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Senior Administrator for a market leading Claims Management Company.

In this role, you will play a critical role in assessing and managing claims related to unaffordable lending practices within the financial sector. This role involves investigating claims made by consumers who believe they have been subjected to unfair lending practices, particularly those related to loans or credit agreements that they were unable to afford. You will be responsible for evaluating claims, gathering evidence, and facilitating fair resolutions for affected individuals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess claims submitted by consumers regarding unaffordable lending practices, ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines and internal policies.
  • Review documentation provided by claimants, including loan agreements, financial statements, and correspondence with lenders.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into the circumstances surrounding each claim, including the assessment of affordability criteria at the time of lending.
  • Gather evidence from multiple sources to support claim assessment, such as bank statements, credit reports, and communication records.
  • Liaise with claimants, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies to gather relevant information and facilitate the resolution process.
  • Provide clear and concise communication to claimants regarding the status of their claims, requested documentation, and next steps in the process.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to determine appropriate resolutions for validated claims, which may include refunds, loan modifications, or other forms of compensation.
  • Ensure timely and fair resolution of claims while balancing the interests of both claimants and financial institutions.

Experience/Skills:

  • Proven experience in administrative roles within the financial or lending industry.
  • Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in using office software and other relevant tools.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
