Senior Acoustic Consultant

Salary: £40K - £50K (Dependent on Experience)

Location: Reading

Hunter Mason is looking for a senior Acoustic Consultant to join our Client in Reading. The successful candidate will be responsible for sound proofing, sound surveying and ensuring compliance with sound regulations on construction sites and buildings across the residential, commercial, retail, education, entertainment, leisure, & healthcare sectors.

The Company Provide:

  • Room Acoustics/Design
  • Sound Insulation Desing/Testing
  • Construction Noise, Vibration & Dust Monitoring
  • Sound Proofing and Sound Surveying buildings/construction sites
  • Ensuring compliance with sound regulations

Responsibilities:

  • Handle acoustics work including taking site measurements & technical assessments.
  • Attend client meetings.
  • Provide excellent client service.
  • Assist in generating repeat business & new business from new & prospective clients.
  • Take responsibility for & update your Acoustics knowledge.

Requirements:

  • A relevant first degree or post-graduate qualification in Acoustics, Physics, or Audio Technology or related field
  • Be a member of the Institute of Acoustics
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organisation & admin skills
  • Good commercial awareness
  • Good eye for detail with a right first-time attitude
  • Proficient with Microsoft Products
  • Full UK Driving License
