Senior Accounts and Tax Manager

Fantastic new opportunity for a Senior Accountant and Tax Manager to join a growing firm of Chartered Accountants based in Halifax.
Offering a wide range of services for local businesses, this firm is keen to add to their existing team and support the firm's continual growth. You will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact with long-term progression opportunities, starting as a Senior Accounts and Taxation Manager, progressing through to Partner in the future.

• Managing and developing your own portfolio of clients, being responsible for client contact, managing workflow, and assisting junior members of the team.
• Participate in client meetings both in-person and over the phone etc.
• Completing accountancy and business taxation assignments for a wide range of businesses.
• Reviewing financial statements for a mixture of clients such as sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• Supporting clients with their personal tax compliance and tax planning, offering solutions and explanations that fit with the client's needs and goals.
• Supporting junior team members with their learning and development, being involved with internal reviews and contributing to the firm's progression.

About you:

• ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Significant experience in Accountancy Practice, able to work both independently and part of a team.
• Personal tax compliance and planning experience would be essential.
• Excellent time management, communication, and written skills.
• Confident commanding your own portfolio of clients.
