  • Become an active member of a small team of technical accountants providing guidance and advice on technical accounting matters to both transactors and back office functions
  • Partnering with Front Office to advise on the accounting implications of their business and actively ensuring that they are aware of all forthcoming accounting changes and their impacts
  • Contribute to projects which incorporate accounting topics
  • Support the new product assessment process, liaising directly with front office functions to support structuring activities, advise on the impact of new transactions on the company’s accounts, and co-ordinate responses across the finance function
  • Contribute to, and provide, training on technical accounting matters across the firm
  • Active engagement with external auditors on all policy matters
  • Contribute to the issuing or update of local accounting policies under IFRS
