Description

The key responsibilities of a Senior Accountant will include, but may not be limited to;

  • Prepare and review financial statements and reports.
  • Preparing stakeholder reports.
  • Conducting monthly review of all management accounts.
  • Maintain and oversee all accounting procedures and processes.
  • Developing financial controls.
  • Preparing grant reports.
  • Appraising the financial status of grant applications.
  • Develop budgets and financial plans for the company.
  • Advise management on financial decisions and strategies.

Profile

A successful Senior Accountant should have:

  • Not for Profit and Charities background.
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Ability to commute to Cheadle full time.
  • Proficiency in accounting software.
  • Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
  • Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
  • Understanding of data privacy standards.

Job Offer

On offer to the candidate;

  • Immediate start opportunity.
  • 12month Fixed Term Control with potential extension.
  • An estimated yearly salary between £45,000 and £55,000.
