Are you an experienced Accountant with recent experience of working in Practice? Do you enjoy working in a client facing role and working in all areas of accounts from bookkeeping through to year end accounts?

If so then my client has a great opportunity for you. I am working with a highly respected and well established firm of Chartered Accountants based in Hastings who are looking for a Senior Accountant to join a small team.

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for a wide range of accounting functions, including but not limited to:
Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for clients, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for clients, providing insights into their financial performance.
Tax Compliance: Assist clients in meeting their tax obligations by preparing and filing tax returns, and providing tax planning advice.
Year-End Accounts: Lead the year-end accounts process, working closely with clients to ensure timely completion and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
Client Advisory: Provide expert financial advice and guidance to clients, helping them make informed business decisions.

To be considered, you may be fully qualified or qualified by experience but you must have recent practice experience including preparing year end accounts and tax returns. You will be confident in dealing with clients both over the phone and face to face.
