Senior Accountant | Manchester | Up to £25.00 per hour | 3 month contract | Hybrid

Marks Sattin are delighted to be recruiting for a Senior Accountant for a public sector organisation. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in maintaining financial control and ensuring accurate forecasting through a variety of techniques. You will provide crucial budgetary control information and consolidated reports, supporting our commitment to efficient financial management.

Responsibilities: Utilise a range of forecasting and review techniques to maintain financial control and accuracy in forecasting.
Provide timely and accurate budgetary control information and consolidated reports on the organisation's total central budget position.
Offer expert financial advice and support.
Generate and process financial and non-financial data to optimise quality, efficiency, and value for money.
Present complex financial information in a clear, concise manner tailored to finance and non-finance audiences.

About you:

  • Part Qualified or Qualified by Experience Accountant
  • Proficiency in budgeting, costing, and forecasting techniques.
  • Strong financial analysis, modelling, and presentation skills with strategic impact.
  • Familiarity with monitoring budgets and business planning processes in the public sector.
