Senior Accountant

Swindon

Full Time - Permanent

Monday - Friday - 8.30am - 5.00pm

Salary is dependent on experience

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Accountant to join our client based in Swindon.

The Role:

  • Being a client support manager for a tranche of clients - and building up relationships with them.
  • Meeting clients face-to-face, on Zoom/Teams and talking on the phone.
  • Preparation of accounts for limited companies - including liaising with clients while preparing the accounts and drafting tax computations.
  • Checking/preparing VAT returns for clients.
  • Preparation of income tax returns.
  • Advising/training clients on Xero.
  • Our client will give on-the-job training as necessary.
  • Our client will expect their staff to be able to give tax/accountancy/bookkeeping advice - but this develops over time.

The Person:

You must have several years’ experience, intelligence, commitment and good communication skills who can cope with their more complicated sets of accounts.
