Absolute recruit are partnered with a FCA regulated Fintech business based in West London who have recently created a reporting team and are looking to add additional head count. 

The interim financial accountant will be a 6 month role and whilst we can not guarantee, there is a potential for a longer term permanent opportunity. 

The position will reporting into the Head of Reporting and Controls and will contribute across four key areas: 

Financial reporting - providing financial reports for both internal and external stake holders
Audit preparation - contribute and provide relevant information for annual audit. 
Tax - work alongside internal team and external tax providers to help prepare VAT, Corporation, Deferred TAx etc.  
Controls & Processes - work alongside the immediate team and wider finance function to continually drive best practice and ensure controls are adhered to and improved. 

The position will operate on a hybrid basis (3 days in the office), based out of the office in West London. 

To be considered for this role you will have/be: 
  • ACA/ACCA Finalist or Qualified 
  • Previous experience working in an FCA regulated business OR
  • Straight from practice (not exclusively audit) servicing FCA regulated business.
  • Proven experience in reporting, audit preparation. 
  • Ideally some working knowledge of tax preparation
