Are you a Senior Accountant looking for a new opportunity?

Our rapidly expanding client has a new opening for a Senior Accountant based at their Chartered Accountancy practice in Maldon.

The successful candidate must be highly motivated and have at least 4 years practice based experience in the UK. This can either be qualified by experience, part or fully qualified. You will be responsible for a portfolio of clients from a wide variety of industries, from sole traders and partnerships through to large, limited companies and groups.

Duties Include

• Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Preparation of management accounts
• Preparation of self-assessment tax returns
• Preparation of corporation tax returns
• Review the work of junior members of staff
• Managing own workload, and that of junior members of staff

There will also be the opportunity to be involved in audit work for companies, charities, legal firms and FCA regulated clients.

Excellent software skills in MS Office are essential and you must have a good working knowledge of UKGAAP.

A study package will be available for any candidates dedicated to obtaining qualifications.
