Senior Accountant

Our client is a marketing leading construction / engineering company based in County Antrim. Due to significant growth, our client is looking to expand the finance team, bringing in a senior accounting professional into a Management Accountant job. The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to work on a variety of work and will be able to grow their career with this organisation.

Your new role

As the Management Accountant, you will have responsibility for carrying out Management Accounting processes within the Finance Department.

• Preparation of monthly management reporting pack
• Monthly variance analysis enabling senior management to understand and interpret data to facilitate continuous improvement.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders across the business to develop commercial awareness and to act as a strategic business partner.
• Month End close - Journals, accruals, prepayments, reconciliations.
• Liaise with FC in reviewing month-end balance sheet reconciliations.
• Development of budgetary processes and formal annual budgets with monthly budget reporting report on variances.
• Ensuring all VAT/statutory returns and payments are prepared in line with requirements.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be an experienced accounting professional with an ability to deliver both financial and management accounts. Our client is open to reviewing people who are both qualified or qualified by experience. You will be able to work in a dynamic working environment as the business is going through significant growth.

What you'll get in return

You will be rewarded with a competitive salary of between £45000 - £50000 per annum, dependent on your experience.
