JobPurpose
  • Preparation of accounts for a significant client portfolio, monitoring all commercial aspects of portfolio management.
  • Preparation of working paper files, ensuring accuracy.
  • Review financial accounts and VAT returns.
  • Preparation of income tax computations, corporate tax returns, VAT, and PAYE.
  • Support Partners during client meetings, providing guidance to clients and proactively handling queries and problem solving.
  • Overseeing junior staff, including review work and providing training.
  • Build strong rapport with clients, colleagues, and third parties.
  • Champion your own professional development, regularly undertaking training opportunities.

Job Requirements
  • ACCA qualified with UK practice experience.
  • Strong up-to-date technical accounting knowledge.
  • Working knowledge of accounting software, including Xero, VT, Sage, QuickBooks, and CCH.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Self-motivated and able to oversee workflow.
  • A team player able to bring out the best in others.
  • Confidently mentor junior team members, in a positive and constructive manner.
