Responsibilities:

• Managing a portfolio of clients
• Preparation and submission of year-end accounts to HMRC and Companies house for sole traders, limited companies and partnerships
• Preparation and submission of corporation tax computations
• Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT Returns
• Preparation and submission of confirmation statements
• Competing Client Payroll; weekly, monthly, and yearly
• Reconcile client accounting records via Excel or accounting software.
• Preparation and submission of monthly CIS returns
• Managing and mentoring junior members of the team

Skills and experience required:

• Qualified Accountant
• Experience working in General Practice
• Experience mentoring Junior team members.
• Competent using Xero, Sage and Quickbooks
• Professional and friendly manner with clients
• Strong attention to detail
