Role: Senior Accountant (Audit/Accounts Senior/Manager)

Location: Altrincham, Free parking

Salary: £40-48k depending on experience + package

We are currently helping a small friendly Practice in Altrincham recruit an experienced Senior Accountant / Audit / Manager .

Are you ready to take the next step in your career in a friendly and collaborative environment? We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Audit/Accounts Senior/Manager at our vibrant practice.

**Responsibilities:**

- Conducting external audits from planning to completion for small and medium-sized companies, as well as incorporated and unincorporated charities.

- Ensuring strict compliance with auditing and professional standards, staying abreast of evolving laws and regulations.

- Preparation of financial statements, including consolidated financial statements for various entities such as limited companies, incorporated and unincorporated charities, LLPs, partnerships, and sole traders.

- Preparation of Corporation Tax computations and CT600s.

- Crafting Partnership Tax Returns and Personal Tax Returns with meticulous attention to detail.

- Serving as a primary contact for clients, offering guidance, and addressing their queries and concerns promptly.

**Requirements:**

- Proven experience in external audits and accounts management.

- Strong knowledge of auditing and accounting standards.

- Proficiency in preparing various financial statements and tax computations.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively with clients.

- Ability to work closely with the partner to ensure compliance with professional and regulatory standards.

**Qualifications:**

-Professional qualification with ICAEW or ACCA desirable but is not essential. We are a firm that believes in "qualified by experience".

-Experience in performing external audits for limited companies and charities is essential.

-A high level of attention to detail.

-Strong communication skills with the ability to work closely with clients and other stakeholders.

-Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently or with a team.
