Senior Account Handler (Professional Risks / Directors & Officers)

£50,000 - £65,000 + attractive bonus and benefits

25 days A/L + Bank Holidays, Attractive Bonus, Pension, Death In Service X 4, A portal with various discounts for shopping, restaurants and days out

The Company:

Your new employer is a successful, independent and medium-sized Lloyd's Wholesale Broker who have been established for over 20 years.

With offices both in the heart of the city and internationally, they now have an incredible opportunity for a Senior Account Handler to join their fast paced Professional Lines team, focused on Wholesale business.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for providing extensive admin support to Brokers
  • Preparing all relevant documentation including the preparation of Cover Notes, MRC Slips, debiting and other pre and post order documentation
  • Broking duties coupled with dealing with Clients & Underwriters
  • Dealing with renewal process
  • Proactively contributing to the departments overall goals to assist in it’s growth
  • Attending both internal and external meetings
  • Building and maintaining solid all round relationships

About you:

  • 3 years + of London Market experience (Account Handler / Broker Back-Up / Technician)
  • Experience in PI, D & O or Cyber Insurance
  • Experience in creating MRC slips
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain both internal and external relationships
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt to ever changing situations
