Senior Account Handler

Are you an experienced Commercial Account Handler with outstanding technical knowledge specifically within Commercial Property Insurance? If so, we have a brilliant new opportunity available working for one of our closest broking clients in Manchester.

The role is working for a well-established independent insurance brokerage with offices in the heart of Manchester City Centre. They have a number of specialist teams across the business, with this role giving you the opportunity to sit within one of these.

Joining the business as a Senior Account Handler, working as part of one of their specialist teams, you will be responsible for maintaining an insurance portfolio whilst providing a high quality, professional and efficient service at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working closely with clients to truly understand their requirements, ensuring a quality service is delivered and the requisite level of cover is provided.
• Managing the renewal process and handling mid-term adjustments.
• Ensuring information is recorded correctly on Acturis.
• Liaising with partner brokers to ensure that insurance placements are coordinated.
• Providing a first-class service at all times to clients.

Skills and Experience Required:

• You will need to have a strong background and experience in commercial insurance broking.
• A good background and outstanding technical knowledge of Commercial Property insurance.
• Will be an excellent communicator and effective negotiator, in order to secure the best deals for clients.
• Able to develop and maintain solid working relationships with clients and insurers.
• Possess outstanding sector and industry knowledge.
• Experience of using Acturis would be advantageous, albeit not essential.

Salary & Benefits:

• £30,000-£50,000 Dependent on Experience
• 25 Days Holiday, rising with service, plus Bank Holidays.
