SENIOR /ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE £50,000

You will be responsible for servicing accounts from 'cradle to grave' for our clients including written and telephone discussions with new and existing clients, renewal administration, preparation of presentations to insurers, negotiating premiums with underwriters together with providing pro-active claims handling service for customers. Business is all Entertainment.

Key Duties:

  • Prepare documentation for new customers in relation to their insurance requirements. including negotiation of premiums and marketing of New Business presentations. Issue scheme documentation of behalf of insurers and update internal systems once cover is bound, update bordereaux spreadsheets as required.
  • Obtain renewal terms for customers and identify potential alternative quotations before producing presentations for discussion with Senior Management and customers.
  • Prepare documentation / reports for existing customers in relation to renewals. Issue scheme documentation on behalf of insurers and update bordereaux spreadsheets as required.
  • Where required handle Mid Term Adjustments, issue scheme and insurer documentation, update systems, issue invoices as required.
  • Ensure that all documentation is issued within Contract Certainty deadlines.
  • Ensure all customer details are recorded accurately and entered onto the system in a timely fashion.
  • Prepare market renewal from renewal meeting minutes and ensure cover bound by renewal date. Confirm cover with relevant insurers, process policies and chase up outstanding documentation when required.
  • Assist the Accounts department to ensure prompt payment of premiums for cases handled
  • Handle and prepare new claims liaising with insurers and customers. Monitor progress of claims with Insurers, Loss Adjusters and customers through the cycle of the claim. Ensure prompt payment once a claim settlement is agreed.
  • Deal with Insurer queries in relation to customer policies.
  • Prepare debit notes, invoices and policy summaries.
  • Develop and maintain effective customer relationships with clients, and other company contacts. Be constantly aware of customer requirements and show superior speed of response at all times.
  • Keep and maintain good working relationships with Insurers, knowing which insurers are competitive and the markets in which they specialise.
  • Assist the team to retain existing client base and assist with phone queries as required.
  • Maintain agreed service levels ensuring that all Customers are Treated Fairly.
  • Assist where necessary with team training including providing a working understanding of current and proposed FCA guidelines.
  • If received handle and acknowledge complaints. Be fully aware of FCA guidelines and respond within FCA timescales, keeping Senior Management fully updated at all times.
  • Provide experienced support to the overall team, handling technical enquiries from members of staff as required. Support Senior Management in the provision of advice and technical excellence to clients.
  • Manages the office training process and Broker Assess system, reviewing staff progress against Personal Development Plans agreed at the annual appraisal.
  • To stand in for Managing Director when needed and perform other duties to support him

as directed from time to time.

Key Skills / Experience:

Fully experienced in all classes of Commercial business

Full knowledge of all technical documentation in respect of looking after a client and all their requirements.

ACII qualified preferred.

Excellent communication skills
