SEND Teaching Assistant
At Engage, we know that a school runs on quality support staff. We’ve spent over a decade building strong relationships with schools in West Yorkshire and we’re now looking to increase our pool of SEN Teaching Assistants we can offer to these great schools. We have a variety of Teaching Assistant positions available, to start immediately.
The students have the following learning needs:

Moderate Learning Difficulties
-
Autism Spectrum Condition
-
SEMH needs
-
Behavioural needs
It is also advantageous if the you have experience with sensory-based learning.
What we’re looking for:
- Available to work a minimum of 3 days per week (5 days per week is desirable).
- Willing to work with learners of all age groups and abilities including those with SEN.
- Committed to learning both online, in person and on the job.
- Enthusiastic and the ability to be proactive and engaging when in school
- The ability to build rapport with young people

About the role:

Earn up to £500 per week

Full-time positions available

Small group work and intervention support responsibilities

1:1 support for special needs and lower-ability pupils

Supporting students with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Specific Learning Difficulties, EBD and SEMH

Supporting students with challenging behaviour
