Hays Education are currently looking for a primary SEND learning support assistant to work in a large primary school in Birmingham. The school we are working with is welcoming and very supportive.



Your new role
This rewarding role is full time which will start immediately and will involve you working alongside the class teacher and SENDCO supporting children with special educational needs in the resource-based unit. You will be expected to adapt resources to support the children to ensure that they reach their potential in all subjects and liaise with the SENCO and other professionals regarding educational health plans and pupils' progress.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will need to hold relevant qualifications to support children in a primary school, have experience with working children who have special educational needs, be adaptable to support the child's needs and have effective behaviour management. You will also be a good team player, have a good understanding and knowledge of the National Curriculum.

In addition to this, we will require two satisfactory references.
