A Primary School in the BS3 area of Bristol is looking for a Teaching Assistant to work with a child on a 1 to 1 basis in a Year 1 class.

This school is a 2 form entry school, part of a large Bristol Trust who are a diverse school, supporting children from all backgrounds and providing the best learning experience for them.

The Role

As a successful candidate, you will be working within a Year 1 class supporting a child on a 1 to 1 basis.

This is a full-time position to start as soon as possible.

You will work closely with the Class Teacher, developing activities to support the child’s needs inside and outside the classroom.

You will be expected to:

  • Work collaboratively with the class teacher, communicating the development and assessment of the child’s successes.
  • Have high expectations for the individual to succeed.
  • Create a stimulating and purposeful environment
  • Manage and Support with the child’s needs.
  • Assess and communicate the individuals’ successes and developments.

Working with Long-term Teachers:
