SEND Teaching Assistant

We are recruiting an SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a school in Oldham. Working directly under the SENDCo, you will be supporting several children on EHCPs and ensuring they are on track with their learning and development. This position is full-time until the end of the academic year and requires specialist experience. Tradewind offer above-market rates of pay, with the daily rate in the region of £85-£90 per day.
Your duties might include:
Supporting and managing students across key stages with additional needs
Taking responsibility for the safeguarding of the young people in your care
Supporting the school team to provide a stimulating, safe and nurturing environment for students to learn

To be successful in the role of SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
A caring and nurturing attitude
Have a thorough understanding of supporting pupils with SEND
Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
