Full time or Part time SEND Teacher required for long term role in Swindon - September 2024?

Are you a passionate SEND teacher looking for your next full time (or part time) role in Swindon?

Tradewind Recruitment is looking for an enthusiastic SEND Teacher to join a Mainstream Secondary School in Swindon. This fantastic opportunity to teach young people with additional needs but within a mainstream setting, is starting in September 2024 until July 2025 for the right candidate! This secondary SEND teaching role is covering a long term absence and so full duties will be expected to be taken on by the successful SEND teacher. This passionate Secondary School in Swindon is looking for someone who is happy to teach across KS3 to KS4. They are preferably looking for someone with previous experience of working with young people with SEMH or EBD but the most important thing is for them to have a teacher who can offer strong support, effectively manage behaviour, and engage students in their own learning. Salary is negotiable depending on experience but will pay between £130 - £212 per day whilst on a temporary placement, to meet pay scale.

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:
* Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
* Have experience of working with students with SEMH/EBD (not essential)
* A passion for working with young people with SEN or vulnerable young people with social, emotional and mental health
* Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
* CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
* Legal right to work in the UK
