Contract Type: Full Time, Temporary to Permanent

Are you a passionate teacher trying to find a way to contribute significantly to society and feel fulfilled in your work? We are now looking for devoted and inquisitive individuals to join our team as Special Education Teachers at the secondary schools located in Croydon. This is the perfect location to establish a safe, inclusive environment where pupils with special needs can get the help they require.

Responsibilities as a SEND Teacher:

  • Create and present engaging lessons that engage a variety of learners.
  • Deliver lesson plans that are specifically tailored to the needs of your pupils.
  • Encourage a courteous and attentive environment in the classroom.
  • Collaborate with support personnel and other organizations to enhance the educational experience.
  • Use a variety of pedagogical strategies to accommodate your students' diverse learning preferences.
  • Keep an eye on your students' progress and modify your pedagogical approaches as needed.

Requirements as a SEND Teacher:

  • Demonstrated experience instructing students with special education needs;
  • Ability to create specialized curricula and put behaviour control techniques into practice.
  • Having the Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and the necessary teaching experience.
  • The ability to establish a friendly and engaging learning atmosphere.
  • A deep desire and compassion to raise the standard of living for pupils.
