Are you passionate about supporting students with special educational needs in a mainstream secondary school environment? GSL Education is seeking dedicated SEND Support Staff to join our team in Waltham Forest. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the educational experience of students with additional needs.

Location: Waltham Forest, London
Position Type: Full-Time
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Long-Term Contract, 5 days a week

About the Role:

  • Provide support to students with special educational needs in a mainstream secondary school setting.
  • Assist students in accessing the curriculum and participating in classroom activities.
  • Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to implement individualized support plans.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassion and empathy for students with special educational needs.
  • Previous experience working with individuals with SEND is beneficial but not essential.
