Location - Local Authority in Greater Manchester
Salary: £460 per day
Contract: Initial 3–6-month contract with a view to being extended on an ongoing basis.
Schedule – 5 days per week
Hybrid working – 2-3 days in the office.
Spencer Clarke Group are working with a local authority in the Greater Manchester to support with the recruitment of a SEND Service Manager.
The SEND Service Manager will be responsible for the Local Authorities internal SEND services and support the commissioning and quality assurance of external provision to meet the needs of this cohort of children and their families.
The post holder will act as an expert advisor to Children’s Service’s Assistant Directors in support of statutory compliance around SEND.
The role will oversee the operational delivery of the Education Health and Care Planning Team (EHCP). The post holder will lead the strategic direction of the team in partnership with a range of stakeholders.
