We're seeking a skilled EHC Plan Writer to join our dynamic SEND Assessment team. As an integral part of our team, you'll be tasked with creating Education, Health, and Care (EHC) plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each child or young person.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with professionals, parents, and carers to gather comprehensive information about the child's needs and aspirations.
  • Draft clear, concise EHC plans that accurately reflect the child's needs, goals, and required support services.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and regulations, delivering high-quality plans that empower and advocate for the child's best interests.
  • Maintain meticulous records and update plans as necessary to reflect changes in circumstances or needs.

To Be Successful:

  • Proven experience in writing EHC plans or similar documents within a SEND context.
  • In-depth knowledge of SEND legislation, policies, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness in all documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
