Job title: SEN Youth Support Worker

Location: Newham

Pay rate: £90 - £110.00 per day (depending on experience)

Setting: Mainstream Secondary School

Start date: ASAP Start

Duration: Long-term with view to go permanent

Active Recruitment are currently working with an outstanding Mainstream Secondary School in Newham, who are looking for an experienced SEN Youth Support Worker to join them ASAP, on a long-term basis with a view to go permanent. This SEN Youth Support Worker role will involve assisting children with special educational needs, such as learning disabilities, autism, SEMH, etc.

Roles and responsibilities of the SEN Youth Support Worker:

  • To support students with their learning in lessons, working with them individually and in small groups.
  • Assisting kids with learning disabilities, Autism, challenging behaviour, SEMH.
  • Supporting students, who have special needs, with their learning.
  • Demonstrate skill and initiative working with young people.
