SEN Teaching Assistant - Yew Tree Primary Academy, Halewood

The Supply Register are proud to be working in partnership with Yew Tree Primary Academy via the Wade Deacon Trust. TSR support the Trust and all locations within the Multi-Academy Trust with their staffing and recruitment needs. This particular vacancy is to work within the Designated Specialist Provision and support students who have additional needs such as Autism. This is a long-term vacancy, 5 days per week.

Responsibilities:

- Supporting students either on a 1:1 basis, or within small groups.

- Liaising with other staff members to discuss how best to approach working with pupils.

- Reading and updating progress plans and EHCPs to ensure the pupil's needs are met.

Requirements:

- Level 2/3 in a relevant childcare qualification.

- DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).

- Available to work at school 5 days per week.
