Your main responsibility as Autism Secondary Teaching Assistant in Barnet will be to work in groups and 1:1 with secondary aged children with low to high functioning autism; developing communication skills, supporting progression and independence through sensory play/ learning and various specialised curriculum and resources.

What are we looking for?

  • Aspiring Pastoral Workers, Child Psychologists, Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, SALTs, Counsellors, and Social Workers
  • A Passion for working with children with autism
  • Ideally previous experience supporting children with autism in any environment; personal, education or care
  • Personable and caring personality
